Our Story
From our own experience hiring and dealing with property management companies for our own rentals, we clearly saw that many companies lack the professionalism and experience of managing investment properties. Many of these property managers don't even own rental properties themselves. How can we trust our investments to others who lack the understanding of what it takes to be an owner?
We saw an opportunity to combine our love of real estate, our experience managing our own rentals, and the love of interacting with people by starting a property management company. At the same time, we formulated our services and fees to truly reflect the shared risks and rewards between the property manager and owners. We never understood why rental owners took all the risks, while the property manager is awarded for taking no risks at all. This is how Sky Home Rentals LLC started.

Meet the Team
Paulo Metts, Owner and Property Manager
Paulo Metts is the owner of Sky Home Rentals LLC. He is a graduate of California State University, San Marcos with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Paulo served in the United States Marine Corps from 1999 to 2003. He has a background as an accounting clerk for 12 years for the largest bail bond company in the United States. He owns and manages rental properties since 2007. In his spare time, Paulo likes to tend to his garden in his South Salem home. Paulo Metts is a licensed property manager in the State of Oregon, and a member of the Salem Rental Housing Association.
Chris Bamberry, Office Manager
Chris Bamberry is the office manager at Sky Home Rentals LLC. Chris was born and raised in San Diego. He previously worked in the commercial bail bond industry for over 10 years, but his passion is property management. Chris has been a property investor for over 19 years. Chris loves his adopted city of Salem, including taking walks around downtown, Bush Park and Riverfront Park. In his spare time, Chris loves to garden, antique hunting, and fishing. Chris Bamberry is a member of the Salem Rental Housing Association.
